In Depth Discussion In Planning CNC Programs (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

The fourth step on the step by step requirements would be the proper selection of the tools required to create the parts. This step is important on the industry manufacturing practices, basically the tools to be chosen is based on the common sense and Good CNC operators and programmers should be aware of them. Usually there is a certain checklist on this step, the most important point of this checklist would be knowing the material to be machined as well as its characteristics.

Fifth step would be the calculation of the cutting data. Proper calculation is one  of the important steps in the planning process. This is where the spindle speed, federate value, cutting speed and the depth of cut is calculated to fit to the specifications in the blueprint.

Sixth step would be the actual programming process, this is also the step where the proper Units are inserted into the programming algorithm of the Computer Numerical Control Machine. This is where we incorporate all the codes that are needed to run the whole CNC machines in the CAD software.

Programming Considerations

In order for other programmers to analyze and append your algorithm, it is important to have certain programming considerations. These program considerations were suggested by experienced Computer Numerical Control Machine Programmers and Operators.

First it is important that you develop a programming technique that will be readily understood by other developers, with a good programming technique programs could easily be appended if there are any errors.

Second, it is also important to proofread all programs for typographical errors before being executed in the CAM software, this is to ensure that the CNC machine would operate its desired operation. And most important of all is to keep your programs as simple as possible in order for the machine to process the instructions faster.

Understanding the Computer Numerical Control Machine as well as learning the method of programming these machines is not enough to maximize the capability of these devices. Even if you are proficient on those two stated above, proper understanding of the step by step procedures is still important.

In this article we would talk about the step by step procedures of programming Computer Numerical Control Machines which is recommended by the most experienced CNC Machine Operators and progammers.

Step by Step procedures in planning of a CNC program

Whenever we try to program a Computer Numerical Control Machine the first thing that the Machine operator should consider is the blueprint of the part we are trying to manufacture. Proper understanding and reading of a blueprint is a basic and the most important skill in the manufacturing Industry that engineers, managers, CNC machine operators as well as CNC programmers should know about.

Proper understanding of these blueprints should help the CNC machine operator as well as the programmer to use the appropriate CNC machine to be used.

The second step on the proper programming of a Computer Numerical Control Machine is by selecting the appropriate type of Machine that will be used. This is where the proper understanding of each machine type comes into play. Knowing the type of design, specifications as well as features of a machine will help you on choosing the appropriate one.

The third step would be the analysis of the operations or the setup sheet. The setup sheet is used to describe the necessary processes needed to create the parts on a CNC machine. The setup sheet includes the proper machine sequence and also the tools and cutting data to be used. Specifications written on the setup sheet aids the programmer on the proper algorithm needed by the Computer Numerical Control Machine.

How to Survive the Economic Recession (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

2. Plan ahead.
You may not want to become an obsessive-compulsive but there are a lot of advantages to being one. Planning ahead and keeping the household organized can help save you some money in utilities, gas and even food. Planning your meals for instance will help you determine just how much you need to purchase at the grocery stores. The same goes with the gas that you use when you cook food or the electricity that you consume when you use the microwave over.

Planning meals allow you to cook food at the same time. This saves energy big time. Designating a day to go to the laundry shop, the bank, the groceries and to do other errands will allow you to save on gas by going on one road trip instead of going on multiple trips to town. You can even plan your trips in between sending your kids to school.

3. Partner with your neighbors
If kids in your neighborhood go to the same school, ask the mothers to form some sort of group that will take turns sending the kids to school and fetching them afterwards. This will not only allow you to do more during the day, it will also save in gas as the kids travel in a carpool. If this is not viable, considering getting your kids into a school bus.

This way, you can be sure that your kid is safe and of course, school buses are cheaper than driving your kids to school everyday, truly a good option for kids in this time of economic recession.

How to Survive the Economic Recession (part 1 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

People in the prehistoric times are not the only ones in survival mode. Nowadays, people all over the world especially in the United States are feeling the heat of the prevailing economic recession. With the sudden downturn of the economy, a lot of people are more hard up than they were in previous years. Some have even lost their jobs or have lost their homes because of the real estate crash in recent months. The problem with rising costs of gas has also affected the prices of food and other products. Times right now are tighter and harder.

But this is not to say that times are impossible to survive on. In fact, with a little creativity and a lot of forbearance, you can actually ride the economic recession tide and come out the victor. In this survival game, the most likely to survive are those who are willing to change their lifestyle and adapt to the times. Here are some ways to survive the economic recession:

1. Save!
This is not the time to buy, buy and buy in the excess. Buy only those that you feel you can eat or use. Do not buy more than you need. That way, you can be sure that you will not be wasting food. If you don't need additional clothes or things at home, don’t buy any. Save your money for other things that you will be needing in case emergency times are called for.

Saving does not only mean saving money but also saving in electricity, gas and water. You may not realize it but these are things that get a large chunk from your monthly expenses. The same goes with clothes and snacks. This is the time to scrimp. People will not think less of you when you do that.

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

Leave all the necessary emergency phone numbers in a phonebook or organizer that the exchange partner could easily find and use. Include in your list numbers of the police, fire department, hospital, ambulance services, doctor, and other basic service providers. It would also be right to leave numbers of your friendly neighbors so that the family could ask anyone in the neighborhood any question or query. Do not forget to leave your name and mobile phone number so you could always be reached when there is an emergency.

It would be a nice gesture to leave some basic stuff at the refrigerator. The items could include soda, bottles of drinking water, bread, wine, and cheese. Intend such items to be consumed. Such consumables would surely be appreciated by the guest family especially after they have just arrived from the travel.

Make sure your lawn is freshly moved. The garden or yard should be tended before the exchange. If your home has a swimming pool, clean it meticulously. Remember that you are aiming to make your house very presentable and accommodating to your guests. If needed, it is also right to leave proper instructions for plant care.

Before the home exchange, talk to the exchange partner and discuss about other issues and items to be swapped. You may consider exchanging car keys. Phone bill adjustments and payments could also be arranged so that you could rest assured your guest family would not leave high utility bills when they go. Pet care arrangements also need to be discussed.

Lastly, as you intend the guest family to be clean and responsible guests, you should also do the same when you go and live for a while in your exchange partner’s home. Home exchange agreements work two-way. It is a give and take relationship.

Checklist When Preparing for a Home Exchange (part 1 of 2)

 http://www.bromotravelindo.com

Have you entered into a home exchange agreement as you and your family intend to take a vacation elsewhere? Of course, it is just righteous and ethical that you make your house very presentable and decent for the family who would come over. You could also expect the home you would be living in during the swap to be homey and comfortable. That is why you should strive to make sure you prepare well for your home exchange.

How do you prepare appropriately and effectively? You might be surprised there might be so many preparations you should take. Worry no more. The following checklist would help you make good in preparing for a coming home exchange.

Leave operating manual or instructions so that the exchange family would rightly operate the television set, CD player, VCR, home alarm, heater and air conditioner, microwave, and vacuum cleaner. Be particular with this especially when your appliances function complicatedly.

Leave more space in drawers and closets so that the guest family could use them. It is also practical that you leave many hangers. Make sure there are enough linen for beds, kitchen towels, sufficient toilet paper, vacuum bags, and cleaners. If you got valuables, lock them in a secured compartment or a separate room.

It would be appropriate to arrange to put your mail on hold at the post office until you send notice. You do not want your guest family to receive bill statements and letters for you. For vacations longer than a week, it is also advisable to prepay all your pending bills. You should not expect your guest family to pay your dues. As for newspaper subscription deliveries, put them on hold also unless the exchange family want those papers delivered.

Bird Watching: A Past Revealed (part 2 of 2)

It was only in the late 1800s that the call for bird protection began leading to the rising popularity of observations on living birds. The Audubon Society was started to protect the birds from the growing trade.  The term bird watching first read in the title of the book “Bird Watching” by Edmund Selous in 1901.  The earliest field guide in the United States was Birds Through and Opera Glass By Florence Bailey.

Early and until mid-20th century in the eastern seaboard region, they were influenced by the works of Ludlow Griscom and later Roger Tory Peterson.

The rising popularity and use of cars increased the mobility of birdwatchers.  The rising popularity of the car increased the mobility of birdwatchers and this made new locations accessible to those interested in birds.  Networks of birdwatchers in the UK began to form in the late 1930s under the British Trust for Ornithology. The BTO saw the potential to produce scientific results through the networks, unlike the Royal Society for the Preservation of Birds (RSPB) which like the Audubon Society originated from the bird protection movement.

The falling cost of air-travel made flying to remote birding destinations a possibility for a large number of people towards the 1980s. The need for global guides to birds became more relevant and one of the biggest projects that began was the "Handbook of the Birds of the World" which started in the 1990s with Josep del Hoyo a country doctor in Catalonia, Jordi Sargatal and ornithologist Andy Elliott.

Right now, there are about 80 million Americans into bird watching.  More and more people are still showing interest in taking part of this recreational activity.  Its rich history and culture, paves how big this outdoor sport has contributed to the culture and natural history.  Through all the years, one thing still remain.

The love for nature and the how history proved that people can make a stand for the environment.

Bird Watching: A Past Revealed (part 1 of 2)

Bird watching is also called birding.  The first term birding was used for the practice of fowling or hunting with firearms.  More and more people are travelling long distances to spot rare species of birds, these people are called twitchers.  The goal of twitching is often to accumulate species on one’s lists.

Some bird watchers look at bird watching as a healthy competition.  They aim to get or accumulate the longest species list.  The act of pursuing a rare specie is called “twitch” or a “chase”.

Showing interest in observing birds can be traced back as early as 1700s in the works of Gilbert White, Thomas Bewick, George Montagu and John Clare.  During the Victorian Era, it was fashionable in Britain to collect eggs and later skins for artefacts of interest.  To obtain rare specimens, wealthy collectors have contacts in colonies that will move and collect for them.

But the collection and collectors went to far.  In 1800, bird hats were all the rage.  Harriet Hemenway tok the lead in fighting the millinery trade or feather industry.  She went on to shut down the interstate bird skin trade, she founded the Massachusetts Audubon Society.

Rosalie Edge, another hero, bought Hawk Mountain in Pennsylvania then turned it into the first sanctuary for birds of prey, which were otherwise being slaughtered. Florence Merriam wrote a guide for newbies.  This served as the early field guide fir bird watching which was incomprehensible for the average hobbyist like them.
